Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the CoachShift mobile application and related services. By creating an account or using CoachShift, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the CoachShift application, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using CoachShift on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

2Description of Service

CoachShift is a fitness coaching platform operated by KingsTech that connects professional fitness coaches with their clients (trainees). The platform provides tools for session scheduling, training and nutrition planning, progress tracking, habit monitoring, in-app messaging, and subscription management. CoachShift is available on iOS and Android and supports English, French, and German.

3Account Registration

To use CoachShift, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information including your name, email address, and role (Coach or Trainee). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at contact@kingstech.us if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. CoachShift reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these terms.

4Coach Responsibilities

If you register as a Coach, you agree to the following:

  • You are a qualified fitness professional and hold any certifications or licences required in your jurisdiction.
  • You will provide services to trainees in a professional, safe, and ethical manner.
  • You are solely responsible for the training plans, diet plans, and advice you provide to trainees.
  • You will not use CoachShift to engage in any activity that could harm a trainee's health or wellbeing.
  • You are responsible for managing your own client relationships, scheduling, and payments outside the platform.
  • You will keep your professional profile information accurate and up to date.

5Trainee Responsibilities

If you register as a Trainee, you agree to the following:

  • You will consult a medical professional before beginning any fitness or nutrition programme, particularly if you have pre-existing health conditions.
  • You follow training and diet plans at your own risk. CoachShift and KingsTech are not liable for any injury or health outcome resulting from content provided by coaches.
  • You will provide accurate health information to your coach to enable safe and effective coaching.
  • You are responsible for completing sessions, logging check-ins, and engaging with your coach in good faith.
  • You will not share your account credentials with others.

6Subscriptions and Payments

CoachShift offers subscription plans for coaches. Subscription billing is processed securely through Stripe. CoachShift does not store or access your full payment card details. All fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. CoachShift reserves the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. During the beta period, CoachShift is available free of charge. Paid plans will be introduced at a later date with advance notice to all users.

7Beta Programme

CoachShift is currently offered as a beta release. By participating in the beta programme, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • The platform is in active development. Features may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice.
  • The service is provided free of charge during the beta period. No credit card or payment information is required to participate.
  • KingsTech does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, uptime, or error-free performance during the beta period. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may occur.
  • We may collect feedback, usage data, and error reports to improve the platform. This data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Your data (including client profiles, training sessions, diet plans, progress logs, and chat messages) will be retained when the beta period ends. You will not lose your data when paid plans are introduced.
  • Coaches who join during the beta period will be offered a founding member rate when paid plans launch. This rate will be locked in for the lifetime of their subscription, provided the subscription remains active and in good standing.
  • KingsTech reserves the right to end the beta programme at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before transitioning to paid plans.
  • Beta users are encouraged to report bugs, suggest features, and provide feedback via the in-app feedback channel or by emailing contact@kingstech.us.

8Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, trademarks, and materials within the CoachShift platform are the intellectual property of KingsTech or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written permission. Content you create on the platform — such as training plans, exercise libraries, and coaching profiles — remains your property. By uploading content, you grant KingsTech a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

9Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: use CoachShift for any unlawful purpose; impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications; upload harmful, abusive, or offensive content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account; interfere with the security or integrity of the platform; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application; or use the platform to transmit spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial communications. Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination.

10Disclaimer of Warranties

CoachShift is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. KingsTech does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content provided by coaches on the platform. Your use of CoachShift is entirely at your own risk.

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KingsTech and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use CoachShift, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or health-related outcomes. In no event shall KingsTech's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.

12Changes to These Terms

KingsTech reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the app or by email. Your continued use of CoachShift after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the platform and may delete your account.
